A new gathering in Madrid brought together faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to reflect on the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The dialogue included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers presented reflections from faith, culture and public service on how open dialogue can strengthen coexistence.
In the discussion, participants addressed themes news euro 2024 such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when rooted in respect for human rights.
